What a fabulous experience my wife and I are big truffle fans. We were not disappointed. Service was outstanding by our waiter Francesco sat inside towards the back

The best food we’ve tried in Rome! Ate here twice in 3 days and would’ve come back every day if we stayed longer! Michelin standard

A lovely surprise on a quiet lunch break Stopped in for a quick solo lunch and ended up having a really good experience. There was just one table available when I arrived — as if it was waiting for me. I had the pappardelle with wild mushrooms, and it was absolutely delicious — rich, earthy, and perfectly cooked. The cozy atmosphere and selection of books to flip through while waiting added a charming touch. A spontaneous visit that turned into a very pleasant memory.

We had dinner here without a reservation and were seated outside, which we understood given how busy it was. However, the outdoor seating was quite dark and cold, with no heater and just a small candle for lighting, which made the atmosphere a bit uncomfortable. As for the food, we ordered the fresh truffle pasta, sea bass, grilled asparagus, and a portion of spinach. The truffle pasta was very simple—just truffle, butter, and pasta—nothing particularly special in terms of flavor. The sea bass was nicely done, and the sides were just okay. Overall, the food leans toward the higher-end side in terms of pricing in Rome, for truffle pasta it cost €34. At the end, when we received the bill, someone who seemed to be the manager pointed out that the tip wasn’t included. While we don’t mind tipping, we do feel it should be based on the overall service and experience, rather than being hinted at or expected. All in all, it was a decent experience—some hits and some misses—but worth a visit.

A Perfect First Meal in Italy – Life Garden, Rome This was our very first meal in Italy, and what an incredible way to begin our culinary journey! Life Garden truly exceeded our expectations. The ambiance was welcoming and elegant, with a lovely garden-like vibe that made us feel instantly relaxed. We tried several dishes—and I have photos of every single plate because they were not only delicious but beautifully presented. Each bite was bursting with flavor, from the fresh ingredients to the perfectly balanced seasonings. You can tell the kitchen takes real pride in its food. The service was warm and attentive without being intrusive, and the staff helped us choose some amazing pairings. Every dish felt like a celebration of Italian cuisine. Highly recommend Life Garden to anyone visiting Rome—this place made our first Italian meal unforgettable!

The outdoor seating had a wonderful inviting ambiance. The food was fabulous and appreciate that the restaurant allowed sharing go of tasting menu. Tasting menu was a method to try so many delicious items, especially the truffles. Loved the burratta ravioli ! Sommelier recommended a spectacular red wine that was not just the most expensive on the menu. Steak entree was cooked perfectly and we age our own steaks. The best part of the meal was Deborah, our server, who made us feel at home, made great suggestions and shared our love of food. ASK for her to take a great experience to off the chart magnificent. Thanks Life Garden for a lovely evening! I would recommend to anyone who is. Sitting Rome and needs a recommendation for dinner near Spanish steps.

The best restaurant in Rome that we visited. We came back here three times, tried different dishes and everything was just incredibly delicious! We especially recommend the steak with truffle and pasta with Norwegian butter and fresh truffle! Excellent service, great food, wine, beautiful expensive dishes!

Life Restaurant in Rome feels more Americanized than truly authentic Italian, but it’s still a very solid choice. The ravioli were excellent and definitely the highlight of the meal. The porcini mushrooms were fresh and flavorful, and the truffles were good too—though they need to be paired wisely (they didn’t work well on the fish). Overall, the food is enjoyable, the atmosphere is nice, and it’s worth a visit, just not the most traditional Roman dining experience.
